At Soundwise we're always improving existing features and unveiling new ones that will make our customers' publishing tasks easier. Today we're excited to introduce three new features:

1. Play Anywhere

Audio is the ideal content medium for on-the-go consumption. That's why all your content is available for your listeners through the Soundwise mobile app. But we're aware that some listeners still prefer the desktop experience. Therefore we have added the web playing feature.

Listeners who subscribed to your soundcasts can now listen to your content from the browser by logging into their soundwise account from https://mysoundwise.com, in addition to the mobile app.

Note that web playing is immediately available to listeners who subscribe to your soundcasts via your public soundcast landing page.

For listeners whom you invited via email (e.g. for internal trainings), currently they will need to first sign up via the Soundwise mobile app to be able to access their account (and your soundcast) on the web later.

2. Get Your Listeners' Attention

You just published an episode. Time to make sure your listeners know about it. We have added email notification in addition to mobile push notifications. Whenever you publish a new episode or send a new announcement, your listeners (and invitees) will now be automatically notified via both email and mobile notification. 3. More friendly Uploading Interface

A few of you mentioned that it was a hassle to customize your image assets into the square dimension that Soundwise required. That's why we have added an image cropping function into your dashboard. Now whenever you upload a new picture for your publisher icon, host profile image, or soundcast cover art, you can crop your image into a square on the fly.

We have also implemented a progress indicator for audio and notes uploading. When you upload larger audio/pdf files, now you can see exactly where you are in the uploading process, go get a cup of coffee, and come back to enter other information when your upload is ready.

In addition, we have integrated episode reordering into dashboard via drag and drop. By default the newest audio section will still show up on top. But you can move the sections around. The sequence you see on your dashboard will be the sequence your listeners see on their phone under the 'soundcasts' tab. For new section/episode updates, the updates will be rendered in the sequence in which they're published, under the 'updates' tab in the mobile app.
