The St. Louis, MO native has written for a litany of music publications and has also authored eight books including the most recent one (Tonechaser...) on his friendship with the late and legendary guitarist Edward Van Halen. Rosen plays guitar and every once in a while is able to keep the instrument in tune long enough to write/record songs.
