Eduardo de la Cruz Cruz es hablante nativo de náhuatl, originario de Chicontepec, Veracruz. Es instructor del Programa de verano de lengua y cultura náhuatl en la Universidad de Utah. Ocupa el cargo de director en IDIEZ https://idiezmacehualli.org donde dirige proyectos de revitalización de la cultura y el nahua nahua. Actualmente enseña en la Universidad de Brown, donde es profesor asociado. Actualmente es un Ph.D. candidato en la Facultad de “Artes Liberales" de la Universidad de Varsovia. De la Cruz es parte del equipo de investigación del Getty Research Institute desde 2017-2023. Eduardo de la Cruz Cruz is a native speaker of Nahuatl, originally from Chicontepec, Veracruz, Mexico. He is an instructor in the Nahuatl language and culture summer programme at the University of Utah. He holds the position of director at IDIEZ (https://idiezmacehualli.org) where he directs projects for the revitalisation of Nahuan culture and language. He currently teaches at Brown University, where he is an associate professor. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Faculty of "Liberal Arts" at the University of Warsaw. De la Cruz is part of the research team at the Getty Research Institute from 2017-2023. He is also the author and co-author of several monolingual books in Nahuatl, including "Cenyahtoc Cintli Tonacayo: Huahcapatl Huan Tlen Naman" and "Tototatahhuan Ininixtlamatliz." His main topics of study include indigenous methodologies, ceremonial practices of maize cultivation, and Nahua welfare concepts.
