Sound Wise About Medicinal Plants -Free track of the week - ARNICA!

cover art
Quite a few people have signed up for 'Meaningful Monographs!' and other medicinal plant audio lessons I've recorded. A few have asked to sample one. There was some discussion among peers at the start of our week about Arnica! So I pulled this original out and made it the free track for this week.

"Arnica!" is a spoken monograph like the others in the soundcast "Meaningful Monographs!". "Meaningful Monographs!" is herbalist Heather Irvine's collection of spoken lessons each on a different medicinal plant species; and some may include several species of the same genus - with similar or nearly interchangeable use - plus interesting nuances. The Arnica monograph includes botanical and growing differences between Arnica montana and Arnica chamissonis and moreover, it's about the how and why of using Arnica topically, no mater which species you have on hand or take interest in. You might like to know that Arnica is also called leopards bane - so crouch on over, and put an ear to this Arnica medicinal plant lesson, 50 minutes if I recall, meant for you to learn or just review and refresh, while you multitask, pick and process plants, or jot down notes, if inclined. A note, I only endorse using Arnica topically and typically only over unbroken skin - which is one of the often repeated safety pieces most herbalists and others will bossily tell you. Find out why, or if you know this precaution already, be prepared to say more. What is more, we will go much further and deeper than just the most often repeated soundbites.

Arnica - one of the most known, and most debated simple use medicinal herbs - here's my scoop on Arnica (50 minutes)
