Tanya Byrd is the founder of Beautiful Survivor, a support group whose mission is to walk through the journey together as sister survivors and warriors courageously fighting breast cancer with faith, sharing knowledge and expertise, strength and a spiritual lifeline that brings hope. She’s a “Georgia Peach” and native of Atlanta, GA where she attended grade school, high school, and college (Clark Atlanta University) studying English. She’s the ecstatically proud wife of Ronald L. Byrd. Tanya will tell you God knew what he was doing when He blessed her with two incredible young gents. Her first born, a college graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Music and her second son is a photographer and currently in college to become a Welder. Although she studied English in college, Tanya landed on her feet as a successful Manager in Credit and Collections for over 20 years. During that time, she earned a CBA designation (Credit Business Associate Certification) from the National Association for Credit Management. She was recognized by her peers for leading a staff to exceed goals established quarterly. Today, not only is she the founder of Beautiful Survivor, but also Co-Owner and CFO of G&F Logistical Services LLC which provides transportation, parking lot management/consultation, shipping and freight logistics. CEO of Douglas Mobile Waiters Inc., a mobile food delivery business serving the Douglasville and Villa Rica, Georgia communities. DMW is a proud supporter of The Food Pantry, a local community food bank and members of the Douglas County Chamber of Commerce 2020-2022 and was featured in the Douglas County Sentinel newspaper. Tanya is also a participant of the Women of Valor, SheoO District and a supportive member of Gertrude’s House, whose mission is to assist warriors through their journey fighting breast cancer. Her anthology book “Survivorship: Rediscovering Yourself Through Survivorship” is now available at Barnes & Noble stores/online. 2: Can I listen offline?
