Eye on Leadership: 5 week leadership training course

Having performed over 3,000 consultations and coaching sessions with hundreds of optometry practices across the country, I’ve discovered one irrefutable truth. Your staff is your #1 asset, and a leader’s ability to communicate, motivate and “lead” their team is critical to the sustained success of the organization.

The idea behind writing the book, Eye on Leadership, and later creating this supplemental course was to use my consulting experience to give leaders and managers of eye care practices the tools and skills they need to successfully lead their teams. Staff management is easily the #1 challenge I hear from ODs and their managers, and it’s been my observation that many leaders lack the leadership skills to get the best performance out of the employees they manage. 

The good news is... some small changes in how you interact and communicate with employees can have a major impact on their motivation, productivity, and morale. 

When I analyzed the hundreds of consultations I've had with practices on staff management issues, I've found that 90 percent of the problems traced back to 5 key areas. Presented in story format, this course takes you through these five areas of leadership. 

Being an effective leader is easier than you may imagine, once you know what it is that you need to be doing – and anyone can do this!

In this course you'll get 8 audio lessons (approx. 2 hours of content), a 5 week leadership training manual, and a group chat to ask questions and share insights with other participants.

The course is designed to take place over 5 weeks, focusing on a different leadership principle each week. 

By the end of the course, you’ll not only have the skills to better lead your team, but also the knowledge to navigate many of the challenges (and headaches) you've faced as a team leader.
