Wecome to The Calm Café - your place to relax and refresh every day!

How can you relax and refresh yourself in a busy world, full of overwhelm?

This is a space to take good care of yourself and refresh your energy.

Too often, we take a break and continue depleting our energy, hooked in an endless scrolling online or caught up in our future To Do list.

It doesn't have to be this way. Even a small break can be a haven of deep ease: nourishing, restful, supportive.

Intentional relaxation and practices that refresh yourself are the key.

The Calm Café supports you in making the most of your short breaks, so that you can leave feeling more nourished, at ease and refreshed. You'll find a selection of ten practices to help you to:

  • re-set your mood
  • nourish a sense of deep ease
  • let go of a difficult conversation
  • nourish a sense of joy
  • take care of anxiety or anger
  • take great care of your precious self

If you've got ten or twenty minutes, you have time for this.

So get yourself a cuppa, pull up a chair and create a space of deep ease for yourself.

How this works:

(1) In The Calm Café, we do our best to be truly here, honest, patient and super-kind with ourselves

(2) All you need to do is show up. That is perfection in itself.

(3) And that's it!

Before we start... a word about our habit of distraction:

The mind is like an untrained puppy, needing lots of guidance and encouragement.

How we refocus back is key: if we give ourselves a hard time then we'll zap our willpower; we need to bring ourselves back with genuine kindness.

The second you notice that you're distracted, mindfulness has already kicked back in.

Nice job!! Now all you need to do is lead yourself back and settle back into your practice again.

This course will be a vital resource on how to relax in your daily life.

What you’ll learn:

  • How to make the most of your break, with short guided practices to calm your mind and warm your heart.
  • Mindfulness, stress reduction, self-care, relaxation, happiness!
  • How to Relax Every Day
  • Relaxation Techniques
  • Relax During a Busy Day with Meditation and Mindfulness

Are there any course requirements or prerequisites?

  • There are no requirements - every one is most welcome.

  • People having a regular noisy, busy day
