What if all the Bibles were burned? Who would tell the stories of Jesus? We will!
Join Dale Fincher as he tells the stories of Jesus from the Gospel of Mark. Learn the stories and their meanings so you may remember them for yourself and share them to the next generation.
“Dale engages your kids’ intelligence, refusing to patronize or dumb down Jesus’ teachings. You and your family will be strengthened to trust Jesus with your lives. You’ll find the humanity and divinity of Jesus both tangible and inspiring. You will see how to keep telling the stories of Jesus for years to come.”
In this "storytelling" format, Dale does not read from any particular version of Scripture. He draws from several translations plus his own studies and creates a paraphrased story from the text. This approach has several advantages: 1) We hear the story with fresh ears, 2) We hear the meaning of the original story, 3) We learn how to tell these stories for ourselves, especially those who struggle to memorize verbatim text. Think about it: the stories of Jesus first traveled through the world by people simply sharing them with one another, years before Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John wrote them down.
Each of these stories leads with a question in the title to help the listener look beyond the familiar story into the heart of what Jesus was saying and doing. For the LIFETIME and STUDY EDITIONS, additional study questions are included with each story for easy reference (and a PDF with all the study questions for you to print out if you desire). Alongside each story is additional commentary by Dale which we call the "Side B."
All EDITIONS are intended for indivdual and family use only. For group studies, small or large, please contact us for pricing.
