J. Kay Coughlin
J. Kay Coughlin, CEO of Facilitator On Fire, has a dream to create a world that is generously inclusive of all adult
generations. Facilitator on Fire offers two primary services: workshops and seminars to overcome age bias in the workplace, and caregiver coaching for individuals who are overwhelmed by the emotional grind of caring for a family member.
Kay’s passion for creating intergenerational harmony extends far beyond the office. She lives next door to her
mother and is the manager of a “Feed the Hungry” garden at her church, which was a project she founded to bring people of all ages together to grow food, community and spirit. Kay honed her skills as a facilitator of intergenerational communication by producing major events and in the high-pressure world of major gift fundraising. She was nationally recognized for her innovative work in the field of donor relations, which is the
non-profit equivalent of customer service.
