Would it be fair to say that the best way to understand more Japanese is to know more Japanese words, Japanese phrases, and Japanese grammar in context? So why does everyone keep trying to master Japanese listening the hard way? The hard way is to listen to a whole lot of Japanese and assume that you will know what it means by Osmosis.
There is also the other old-fashioned way, which is to pretend to understand and just catch the gist.
Then there is the sensible way. Feed your self a steady supply of bilingual content. Use this bilingual content to build up your vocabulary, your understanding, and your confidence. Then go out and test yourself with Japanese-only listening.
Our weekly Soundcast gives you a Bilingual Soundcast on Monday. Then Two days later, on Wednesday, we give you the Japanese only version of the audio. Then two days later, on Friday, we give you a Japanese -only audio test. Each series will run for a maximum of 52 weeks.
If this sounds like a sensible approach to you, sign up for this free trial of Bilingual.AI Japanese !
