“This is the best approach, I’ve seen for resolving conflicts. It’s logical, it’s sensible and it works.”

The Today Show

As a parent, have you ever felt….

“I’m so exhausted and getting nowhere with my teen.”

“I’m really frustrated. I know something is going on with my kid and all I can get are one word answers.”

“I can’t even get their attention, let alone listen to me.” I feel so disconnected.”

“I’m fed up. I don’t know what else I can do.”

You are not alone.

From many years of my experience working with parents, what I have learned is…when parents are in pain, they want solutions- not theory. Stop Struggling approach is based on that belief. What I have come to realize is that most parents aren’t even fully conscious of the number one obstacle that stands in their way of raising a responsible and well-adjusted teenager. They are so immersed in their daily conflicts they don’t see the negative consequences of their daily discipline methods- from grounding to bribery- and end up feeling as if nothing works. Out of frustration and a dash of desperation, parents eventually cave in to their teen’s demands, throw their hands and declare defeat. Then guilt overcomes them and the vicious cycle begins all over again.

I call this yo-yo parenting….moving from a policeman to a pushover.

Parents squander all their energy and feel like bad parents even though they want only the best for their teen. They want their teens to reach their full potential, be the best versions of themselves and become a responsible and well-adjusted adult.

One day when I was handing one of these parents- who only want the best for their teens- a copy of my book, Stop Struggling With Your Teen, she stopped me in my tracks and said the following, “Evonne, I’m always in my car and I want to plug in when my kids plug in. I call myself an “uber parent”. I need to able to hear what you have to say-not just read it.”

That’s when I decided to put my over 30 years of experience to use and develop this Stop Struggling With Your Teen audio program and Resolution Without Blame companion workbook.

In this new Stop Struggling with Your Teen audio program, you will learn the time tested TRUST method that provide you with immediate results and long range changes that will transform your relationship with your teen. You will establish the foundations of a respectful, loving relationship with your teen.

What Is the Stop Struggling Method?

A 3 stage parenting action plan that is built on the idea that conflict can be the catalyst for change.

1. Take charge of Your Attitude- a simple change of perspective that ensures you empower both yourself and your teen.

2.Recognize who owns the problem- the one key point that provides a clear path to resolution to any conflict situation with your teen.

3. U se less talk, more action- the most workable approach to establish your credibility and set boundaries with your teen.

4. Step in when necessary- the proactive plan to resolve major issues in your teen’s life.

5. Take a stand- the 4 essential steps to be heard, get what you rightfully want, and act in a respectful no-nonsense manner.

This method will help you strike that delicate balance between setting limits and encouraging independence with your teen. You will have the tools to

*Stop power struggles with your teen without giving in.
